Gift drops are personal, no longer others can collect any of your gifts
in any of the maps, not even in the old ones manor and viaduct event maps.
As for gift drops, i personally have gotten 2 in a 5min period, 3 in a
row in 10 minute period and then like 4-5 hours without any gift drops.
The other players were getting those but there seems to be awful delay
and it's quite random if you get one or don't. It seems that going to
visit mann co store and exiting will renew the connection to Steam
somehow that might help getting gifts more sooner but it doesn't seem to
always work.
The gift will stay in a map as long as you get 3 notes about it. With
4th, it says "mysteriously disappeared". It doesn't stay forever and i
already had a case where i could not find the gift from anywhere.
