Ok, that's it then.  Not sure why no announcement. But, if it's not
"mandatory" server-side stuff - I'm cool.

My client did eventually update - after reboot.  It seemed to think TF2 was
still "running" - even though it was not (and could not find any HL2.EXE or
similar process running on the client.  Anyway, a reboot got the
client-side to finish.  It said it downloaded like ~42-MB of stuff for the
TF2 client.

Not sure what was up with the first update check on the server saying there
as ~100-MB of stuff to download.  Maybe some of that is because it's not
compressed content on the server-side, or there was some update not
TF2-specific and general SRCDS or something.  or maybe somebody checked
something into the wrong repo on the back end, and figured-out they made a
mistake an pulled-it.

Anyway, with the updated TF2 client now, I can still connect to non-updated
TF2 servers.  So, more confusing that breaking anything (from what I see).
