The purpose of the beta is to determine things like server CPU usage. Right now we're seeing about 20% of 1 core on an E3 1270 per instance. The servers use about 1 gig of ram. We're working to get this lower, but no guarantees, so stay tuned. So feel free to put a machine up and help us test, and give us feedback on server specs. Or wait if you'd like and we'll tell you recommended server specs when the beta is over.
