I run three OP4 servers and three minecraft servers on a box with an AMD FX 4300 Quad-Core Processor. The cpu maxes out at 3.8GHz, and I use the ondemand governor. With all this, it just idles along nicely. You really don't need that much to host a counterstrike server - hlds was build back in the day when a 500MHz PIII was a hot machine, and I used to run a couple of them on an old Athlon 1200MHz - until Valve updated hlds to require a level of sse that the Athlons did not have - poof, four boxes obsoleted overnight, thanks Valve.

Honestly even for CS:GO about any modern processor should suffice for hosting. I guess the main thing to keep in mind is to not host more servers on the same box than you got cores.

I want to host multiple gameservers for game counterstrike but i want
to know that why everyone using intel processors while hlds is single
threaded and works only on 1core... why cant amd processors which has
    more cores with speed?

HLDS is single threaded that more cores with speed can handle more
servers like for example 12cores AMD with 2.8ghz can handle 12servers
smoothly then why to use intel for hlds? PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS (I
dont want to know which processors from intel or AMD to pick).

I just want to know more cores+speed AMD or intel?
