You can change the delay too :) ... I have mine at 5 seconds... which is
just enough time for me to react to people complaining "wtf? .. he's
cheating!" .. when I see that on the console I can quickly change to the
player in question and watch him ... heh .... like I said, props to the
HLTV guys ...

Although, I do have one reqest of the server, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE,
add the ability for repeting keys! :) Right now for example, you have to
hit BKSP/DEL/whatever, for every char you want to remove (at least, for me
.. I could be wrong / missing something hrmm).

Actually, I have another question/request :) .... since you guys (Valve),
changed teh scroe board so much (and a fine job you did! :) ... why did
you stop at allowing users to click on a name to put them on mute? ..
what I mean is, wouldn't it be neat if the client could set an rcon
password or something, and have admin-like powers to .. ummm ..
point-and-click on players names to ban/kick them ? :)) ... Or even more
neater, would be letting the server admin write custom menus'n such like
those found in UT, for mapvoting/etc ... :PPPPP

ANNNNND ..... :)

This is probably gonna draw up flames from a few of you, so I'll say it
now. THis is PURELY my OWN opinions ... if you don't like them, delete
the message. Flames goto /dev/nul, or 'mail to abuse@<yourisp>' ..

With that aside, would it be a GOOD thing to have another mode in HLTV
that .. ummm... is basicaly like a wallhack but without the third party
code? This would obviously only be be hltv games, and even require a
password to turn the mode on/off, but .. well.. I rather like the new hack
that is out. As I mentioned before, it has made my job as an admin, much
easier and although on one hand I do want to see the hacks get delt with,
I'll be sad because HL by itself does not provide an admin with much as
far as proving people are cheating. Case and point: A player seems to be
stareing at a wall following something .. is he looking at another player
or is he just .. well .. bored and looking at the cracks? Or even just
shooting randomly? ... With hltv I can see exactly what he is seeing.

I know there are some cvars you can set to do some neat things _like_ the
hacks (make objects transparent, etc) .. but they are for single-player
games only / developers ...

</randomness>
