In the meantime, I have set my server up with the latest AdminMod (MySQL) and have made them Maxplayers 20, Reserved Slots 20. Now, anyone who wants to play online has to register their WONID, be validated by our host of admins, and then is "enabled" (ie adminmod access level 32768). Think of it as a waiting period for buying a gun. I'm sure I'll have cheaters join but for most it will be too much of a hassle. And if they get through, get busted, they have to go through the whole process again with a new WONID. It's not going to keep them away 100% but every bit counts.
