Yes, wildly. I'm only replying to the list since others might want
to add other opinions, too. Added OT tag, tho. But I owuldn't mind
taking it off list either.

That is not very far from the truth, I'd say.

Yep, that would have been my recommendation, too.

Now, now, that is not fair. I don't think the ICQ designers had
anything to do with it. :) Serioulsy, the UI isn't that bad. It
may not be what M$ does, but noone said that is any better. The
one thing I don't like about The Bat is the free-caret editor.

If you didn't like The Bat you could try Pegasus, but it's UI also
doesn't look very M$'ish.

Oh, does it? I know you can check multiple accounts from OE, but
is it that easy to reply using different From addresses?

I don't really want to go into how you can do that under Linux,
but you probably know that it is possible with CLI tools, too. Get
mails with fetchmail, sort them into folders with procmail
(automatically) and read/write mails with Pine. Pine supports
"roles", ie. different From addresses you can select. Pretty
handy.

Then there are a lot of new email clients. You might check some of
the out. I know that KMail can handle multiple POP accounts but
KMail sucks. I'd give Slypheed a chance.

Florian.

P.S.: If somebody wants this to be taken of list, just say so. I'm
happy to obliege.
