The "pingboost" options are still experimental, use them at your own risk :)
both modes 1 and 2 will slightly improve pings at little cost to CPU usage.
Mode 3 will give the best possible pings at the cost of heavy CPU usage.
With a bit of tweaking mode 3 can be made to strike a better balance between
CPU usage and ping performance, but this will have to wait till this new
release settles down to start playing with this setting :-)
