Hello hlds_l gods, I currently have 1 server with two installed nic's. With just 1 nic installed the server functions, as an Internet hlds_l server with no problem. Since I have installed the 2nd nic I now cannot connect. It starts fine, no errors or anything, but when I do a "status" it does not report back an IP address where one would normally be.
1 nic connects to an Internet ISP. The 2nd nic connects to a Linksys DSL router. The nic that connects to the Internet ISP (DSL) is the one that I would like people, on the Internet, to be able to connect to and play and show up in GameSpy and what not. I installed the 2nd nic and connected it to my internal router so that I can play with a direct connection as opposed to connecting through the Internet. I have 2 Internet connections in my house. One for the server (DSL) and one for me (Cable). Any ideas.
