Funny, that's exactly what I was thinking Oscar.  I don't know of any
vulnerabilities for proftpd, such as those of wu-ftpd.  I have proftpd
running on my hlds server, but then again, I also have said machine behind
my firewall, and the ftp redirect on the firewall points to my W2K web
server.  So, my game server is only allowing ftp connections from reserved
class C IP addresses on my LAN.
