Unless the server has a weak cpu, I really don't see why you would be
concerned.  Adminmod itself seams to add hardly any processing load.
Metamod on the other end added 12~14% to my p3 850.  If your having  a
match, and it's the only server running, dont worry about it.

The other thing you could do is make the cfg files read only or owned by
another user.
