Looks like a corrupted download to me. Run the command "file" on the admin_MM_i386.so and see what it says. It should say it is an ELF file: "admin_MM_i386.so: ELF 32-bit LSB shared object, Intel 80386, version 1, not stripped" If that is not the case, redownload it.
