CS will die, as most of the current mods, if ms (do u know http://www.againsttcpa.com/index.shtml ??) get his hands on valve. The HL-Community is like the OpenSource thing and with "big brother watching you" I'll quit my engagement, too.
Plz don't let this happen... or "a never ending story" will end very soon... -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of Kevin J. My ex roommate works for Vivendi...makes the children's ->games, actually (like Math Blaster). He confirmed this when I asked him ->about it. He's not sure what impact this might have, either, but he's ->really only concerned that he keeps his job, which he will, and I imagine ->the stock options might become a bit nicer, too. The only thing, if Valve has to make hl2/cz/cs2 whatever, a Xbox lead or exclusive game, players around the world will have freeking heart attacks. People will travel from all over to their home office and riot lol. otherwise, who cares? Besides, It is debatable how much valve is dependant/chained to sierra/vivendi. I mean, why are they developing steam if they want to continue dealing with the middle men of sierra and the retailers? kev _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux
