Adding to your off-topic post, the latest nix BF server now uses about 50% of the cpu the previous version used. It is now about equal to the resources used by 3.1.1.0.c. Not completely off-topic, we use 2.4.x and are running 3.1.1.0.c still. We tried a couple of the earlier BF releases and were horrified but the beta patch 7 turned that thing around. Were running a 32 slot that takes no more cpu than a TFC at 24 when full. It is kind of hard to compare because the maps vary load just like TFC but that is a pretty close estimate overall. Not to prop a competitors game on the Valve list, to be honest, I don't care for playing it (a wasted $52) and the admin tools just make you want to cry after using halfd. None the less, a 50% drop in cpu is impressive and I never thought I would see it happen. It has given me hope for 3.1.1.1.x. Rick -- --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free.
