Couple questions about the 2.5 kernel.

If it is recompiled with the 2.5 kernel and it becomes unstable can it just
be reverted back to the 2.4.x one just by switching the line in the boot
file like if we had just upgraded to another 2.4 kernel? Or does it have to
upgrade other software to use the 2.5 sries that will make it 2.4
incompatible from there on?

Also why would I not need to use -pingboost 1 anymore? And what do you mean
by 1000hz?

Thanks
Jeremy

I would try the 2.5 series of kernel's. They are pretty stable and use the
1000hz settings. These seem to make a vast improvement and you no longer
need to use pingboost.
