If I am, im not supposed to do so.

Here is whats running after executing my startupscript without the +ip
switch:

cs 747 0.0 0.1 2464 1292 ? S 21:42 0:00 SCREEN -A -m
-d -S cs ./hlds_run -game cstrike +maxplayers 16 +map de_dust2 -tos
-pingboos
cs 748 0.1 0.1 2148 1104 pts/1 S 21:42 0:00 /bin/sh
./hlds_run -game cstrike +maxplayers 16 +map de_dust2 -tos -pingboost 3
-debug
cs 759 1.7 2.7 59540 21012 pts/1 S 21:42 0:00 ./hlds_i686
-game cstrike +maxplayers 16 +map de_dust2 -tos -pingboost 3 -debug

Im supposed to only run one server, and I have this line in a file called
startserver:

screen -A -m -d -S cs ./hlds_run -game cstrike +ip 217.8.183.103 +maxplayers
16 +map de_dust2 -tos -pingboost 3 -debug

All I do is: ./startserver

Hope you guys can help me out here.

It looks like you are trying to run two hlds_run processes on the same port
number, which suggests what ever mechanism you are using to assign hlds_run
processes with different port number is not working! I think that 27015 is
the default if you don't specifiy one.

Hi,

Anyone who can try to understand why im getting this error?

Console initialized.
Protocol version 46
Exe version 1.1.2.0/Stdio (cstrike)
Exe build: 13:41:36 Sep 9 2003 (2511)
Enabling LOWDELAY TOS option
WARNING: UDP_OpenSocket: port: 27015 bind: Cannot assign requested address
FATAL ERROR (shutting down): Couldn't allocate dedicated server IP port
27015.

Here is my startup line:

screen -A -m -d -S cs ./hlds_run -game cstrike +ip serverip +maxplayers 16
+map de_dust2 -tos -pingboost 3 -debug

If i skip using +ip i have noe problems starting the server, but when ppl
type status in game they get my internal ip "192.168."
