Hi there, Just wondered if anyone else has been receiving the following
error with the DoD server steam install on startup..
I am getting the following error.

[EMAIL PROTECTED] hlds_l]$ ./dod.sh
Auto detecting CPU
grep: /proc/cpuinfo: Permission denied
./hlds_run: line 238: test: -lt: unary operator expected
./hlds_run: line 246: test: -ge: unary operator expected

Console initialized.

FATAL ERROR (shutting down): Host_Error: Couldn't get DLL API from
./dod/dlls/dod_i386.so!

If anyone knows of a way to rectify this problem, I would really appreciate
a reply. There was a thread on the Day of Defeat forum boards suggesting
copying an older dod_i386.so might work, however it still produces the same
error.

Also I was getting an "Failed to get valid content ticket" error when trying
to run the update.. but after deleting the installation record and the
libsteam files, the update went through successfully.

cheers,
David Lumley
