It has always provided the best fps than any of command line parameters. On a full server, HLSW shows it to be 200fps. And the players have always complemented its low ping.

Reason I ask - I am forced to use -pingboost 1 on CPU's with 128k Cache and 256k Cache- the 512k cache CPU's scream and dont require any pingboosting.
