nm...this is a RH7.3 box with glibc2.2 It looks like prelink requires glibc2.3
AMX 0.9.7 is not compatible w/ current Linux Steam servers. 0.9.8a is required as well as the Metamod (v1.17 still) compiled by Alfred at Valve. And yes, glibe 2.3 is also required.
