I fixed this on my freebsd boxes by adding '#include <sys/time.h>' to the top of the includes. I've been using these scripts for ages and love them. Note if your running them on freebsd and don't have the same access to /proc, I switched to use this gathering method:
#CPU=`echo $DATA | awk '// {print $8}'`
CPU=`ps -auxwww | grep hlds_i686 | grep -v grep | awk '{print $3}'`Adjust the grep as needed.

Grrr..
------- rcon.c:78: storage size of `tv' isn't known *** Error code 1
Stop in /home/stuff/rcon-1.01/src. *** Error code 1 -------
Line 78 shows: struct timeval tv;
But I am not sure what to do with it. You followed these steps and it went ok?
