I'd really miss being able to do in-game volume/rate/etc (nothing to do with automating gameplay) toggles, I think a better idea would be to nerf the "wait" command that most of these automation scripts use for timing, changing it slightly so it's still useful for things like restartround scripts but less precise for things like that strafing script.
Also, I'd love to see a client-side alias removal command - it is greatly irritating when I leave a server only to find all cvars, of which most provide nothing but subjective benefit as of the latest versions of the game - locked behind aliases, forcing me to restart the game if I want to alter my rate settings.
I think valve needs to look over the client cvars of most games and lock them down/impose limits at the engine/mod level (within reason, WITHIN REASON), things like being able to adjust your running-bob settings so your POV is higher are rediculous.

Hi!
Just want to know what the admins on this list think of the command on client side "alias" Everyone know(?) this is the base for scripting as in one-key-jump-ducks-fires-3-shots-with-pistol-strafes-and-shoots
My point: Is this REALLY needed?
If you take a "clean" steam cs client and go bind your keys (if you even do this) and then go to the console and type "alias" you see none.
Why is this command needed? This is the base of some script-exploits, just take a look at the http://www.counter-script.net/ and you get the point.:
"Advanced Strafe Fire" - "While walking or running you strafe alternating right and left with each press of the fire button." (the funniest i found)
Which brings me to the usability of the stopsound command, people are using to reduce the "sound entropy" so they concentrate... (wish i could do that in real life :) ) New game players that don't know this command are getting neglected.
Is there any technical reason why these commands can't be removed from the client? I see no use in them. Maybe pass them to the "developer 1" only commands (wich should only be 1 on sv_cheats 1 servers btw)
