I already have a solution wich worked from the beginning. An amx-Plugin, which puts every connected client into a DB and a php-script on the webserver, verifying the requesting client to the DB.
But not everybody has the possibillity to run amx and/or DB on his server, therefor it would be much simpler and better usable if the referer is sent as planned (a long time ago) RCon doesn't work, as Michael wrote and log-file analysis works only, if the webserver runs on the same machine as the gameserver. (I'd guess scp of the logs every X Minutes from the gameserver to the webserver would be to slow) Helge Grimm wrote: > so.Suddenly wrote: > >> Maybe I missed something, but the discussion about referers >> for mapdownloads in cstrike seems to have ended mid july. >> >> Is it a secret feature you have to switch on or is it just not >> implemented yet?
