You want valve to unbreak your perl script ?

Try re-writing it using expect with non-blocking filehandles, should allow
you to fix the %n problem. I could write something up, I was going to but
I thought valve would have this fixed alot faster then the rcon exploit.
If its not fixed by sunday(first day of my long weekend) Ill write and
share a perl fix for it. On a side note, a scary MOTD seems to have really
helped my servers, something along the lines of 'Your isp will be informed
through normal abuse procedures and exploiting software on others
computers is a federal offense'. Its a federal offense here in Australia
anyway..

No update on the cvar wallhacks and no updates on the %n exploit, makes me
think valve have gone on a 'we got money through steam for css holiday'...

That'd be an overly complicated solution to a simple problem :/
Especially when VALVe are working on a fix (they'd be stupid if they
weren't)

Not really, I currently use a perl wrapper around my CZ and CS 1.6
servers which does pretty much the same thing. However, when I tried to
use this on CSS, CSS would not work, so it would be nice if they could
"unbreak" that too.
