Im not sure how MadQuery would help me. Let me explain my situation in a
more detailed form.

I run www.game-monitor.com , and just recently added a '[Launch Game]'
button to server pages which launch the visitor into the game and having
it connect to the server they are looking at. Now what I want to do, is
not have the user launched into the game, but have it add the server to
their favorites, or just have the steam's server info window pop up for
that server, and I was wondering if that is possible.

Yes. If you know some php, I'd look up the MadQuery script. Otherwise
you can look for one from a third party provider. Using MadQuery gives
you the ability to add the tips I have in that tutorial because you have
control over the code. Please note that this script does not work on
Source servers.

you know,
this knowledge renders those 3rdparty apps like
urlgamestarter or hlprotocol pretty much useless.
