Out of curiousity (I bought it on STEAM), is this protection really VALVe's doing or Vivendi's? I know VALVe has some built in anti-piracy stuff (Apparently, I've heard the AI code stops working after x amoutn of time), but do they control what method is used to create the cd/dvd media, or does Vivendi as the publisher decide how to pack it onto the disk?
