People come around corners already aiming at me all the time. They may not
be hacking but its highly suspicious when they do those things and have a
3:1 or better ratio. I just spectate the hell out of em and ban if
necessary. I still catch a few here and there with that old hack that makes
your xhair jump around real bad.
You sound like so many other jumpy and paranoid admins who never evolved
beyond mediocre players. No "h4x" in the world will make you accurate
while in mid-air. The game is random. Face it. You got shot in the
face, and the dude on the giving end is all giddy behind his monitor
thinking how awesome that was. 3-1 k/d? This isn't an e-penis size
contest, here, but come on. I can usually pull a 3-1 k/d on most pubs
out there without trying too hard. Not because I'm anything special,
really, but because the competition out there just sucks so badly
compared to days of yore. Oooooh, ooooh, "spectate the hell out of
them" like the big, scary, shifty-eyed admin you are.
Relax and let people play. If their skills are downloaded, it should be
obvious unless they're really good at hiding it. And if you're
convinced they're just really good at hiding it, then give them the
benefit of the doubt. Seriously. It's in everyone's best interest.
