just goes back to the lack of customer support of certain companies, vivendi
is just cutting there own throught. They are thinking about how they can
protect themselves rather then realizing the importance of a customer....
Hopefully when contract runs out, valve will not deal with them anymore...

By the way, can you imagine if every vendor tried to pull that shit?
Have to have the Windows installation media inserted in the drive every
time you want to play Minesweeper? The Office CD every time you wanted
to run Excel? The Adobe CD every time you want to access a PDF, if you
have Acrobat (not just Reader) installed? The FC3 DVD every time you
want to boot up or open a terminal?
