Or, just give Vivendi the middle finger, return the game to the store
and demand your money back. (Yes you can. I did.) I figure when Valve
gets around to releasing the old key from my account, I'll buy it off of
steam.
Seriously, am I the only one old enough to remember the pirate/publisher
wars of a mere 15 years ago? SecureROM is a pathetic joke for an
antipiracy tool - it's user-hostile and doesn't stop pirates anyway.
