cs:s, you sometimes get double the cvar's value in the current round you connected in. Connect during dead round, you show 1600 until the pistol round starts, at which time you get the normal 800. If you connect after the dead round but in time to still play the pistol round, you sometimes (always?) get 1600. After that, no bug. It's just when you first connect, following rounds behave as usual.
