100 snaps would make no difference either tbh as the Q3 engine is
internally capped at sv_fps 25 (may have been extended to 30 later),
so you couldn't get more than that however hard you try.

Maybe thats what Valve could do, internally cap it and let everyone
keep setting it to what they want and see how many notice ;).
