sorry, but crouching can help a great deal depending on the weapon
you're using. My cousin made a shooting range with a small grid of
glass panes down at the end of it with the sole purpose of testing
guns. There were lines at 15m and 30m away from the glass, and at 30m
crouching made anywhere from a small amount to a large amount of
difference with all guns except the awp. It was the only one that
didn't seem to change at all when standing or crouched. The scout was
one of the surprising ones, your shots barely hit your scope mark if
you're standing, but if you're crouched they hit it exactly every
single time. Before you reply saying what a bunch of crap this is,
download the map for v1.6 and see for yourself. In fact, I couldn't
care less if you disagree because I already know from god knows how
many hours of testing all the different weapons on this map in all
kinds of ways how they all behave.

I guess I could have worded it better, regardless of the precieved
accuracy differences it's still a bad "strategy" ... standing or
crouching with an AK or M4, a burst aimed at the head is going to hit at
even the longest range in the stock CS maps, but who's going to be
harder to hit?

A. The guy crouching, stationary - or at best moving at the pace of a
small turtle

B. The guy standing, strafing between cover - stopping only briefly to
hit you in the face?

And yes I've played those (or perhaps similar) glass tile maps, I wonder
if there are any for source?
