I have to second this. There are quite a few guys out there doing their bit for the amd64 platform, not least hullu / jussi / ghost of evilspy with his volunteer work configuring and recompiling metamod plugins for 64 bit. Jussi doesn't even have an Opteron server or workstation of his own. Now the only two valve apps (CS / CZ) with 64bit support are temporarily dropping it too. Great platform, arse-all support. :( I sure hope it doesn't end up like Beta vs VHS.
