I have a clean install of CS:S dedicated server running on RH ES 4. The
server is set up so that human players play as CTs against a team of
bots (playing as Ts). The bots only have knives; the human players are
restricted to pistols only. The server has been running for months and
has become quite popular. I am not running any custom maps at all. I
am running the mani admin mod.

Beginning a few weeks ago, players attempting to connect (myself
included) started receiving the "your map differs" error seemingly at
random. At first it appeared that only certain maps were exhibiting
this problem. I had consistent problems with cs_italy, cs_office, and
cs_assault. But now I'm seeing the problem on almost every map. Until
just recently, I was not having problems with any of the de_ maps. Now
some of the de_ maps are experiencing the problem as well.

If I delete the problem maps from the server and allow them to be
downloaded again, the problem is fixed, but only temporarily.
Invariably with a few hours (sometimes less), I'll notice that no one
can is connect again. When I try to connect, sure enough, I get the
error as well. I've blown away and completely re-downloaded/installed
the CS:S server via steam twice now, and both times this problem has
recurred.

I can't believe that I'm the only one experiencing this issue. Because
NO one can connect, I'm reluctant to believe that this is a client-side
problem. Has anyone else on the list experienced this before, and if
so, is there a permanent fix? I'm out of ideas. Thanks for any
suggestions you may have.
