-- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Personally I think there's the odd side issue that creeps in, I've helped a couple of gsps for several years now, but get the impression some other people from some gsps that in reality they don't really want to help others in a competetive business anyway, especially "newcommers". Otherwise they give some of the "secrets of their trade" for want of a better description, and tend to find those who leave the lists (don't know that many anyway, just a couple) essentially don't want to help anyone. You can't persuade people to help, either they want to or they don't typically, and I'd guess most people do exactly as they want the list to be, i.e they help because they will get help too themselves. I don't really see the issue, if there were los of posts asking about fedora core 4 or something then yes, but also you can just say off topic and refer them elsewhere. I'd personally rather see a pleasant "sorry this list isn't for this, but try www.xxxxx.com <http://www.xxxxx.com> which is more likely to get the answer for you", and would never complain if I had one or two of them in the mailbox each day I had to delete. Just my two penneth. (in other words keep it as it is unless it becomes bogged down with more off topic posts).
