So your saying a status through putty and a status through a web based
console is different??? You start your server with putty, you see the
console, no reason you can't see a steam id... You start your server with
whatever your "web based program" is, and it reads the console just like if
you hit rcon status... It reads it from the rcon status (same as
putty)....Unicode has to deal with what??? When you talking about steam
ids???

But that doesn't work always. Yesterday i was trying to copy/paste a steamid
from a cheater. The problem was
that i couldn't find him in the status list. He was 'hidden' in the status
list (because i, like most others, use putty).
Eventually i got the steamid through other ways (e.g. rcon status through a
web console etc), but it's not they way
it should be.

And a sollution is to use a terminal client which supports unicode, but be
realistic, about 80% (or more)
of the admins use putty....

Maybe an option/cvar to allow/disallow unicode? So admins can descide what
they want to use?
