Wow ... pretty lame to reply to my own post :) But I have found the problem and know how to fix this:

Hi all, I reinstalled my system the other day, did not play for a while till this evening. Somehow the normal in-game sounds I installed using Amxmodx did not work. So offcourse I checked the server first, cause I am using sv_download url which allways has worked since I put it in the server.cfg I noticed something weird checken the URL in my IE browser; http://zeus.geforce.nl/~mb/files/cstrike/sound/misc/ Whatever .wav file you click, IE just won't play the sounds anymore. And when you visit the same URL with Firefox the .wav files are working fine when you click on them So perhaps this has something to do with the sounds not working in CS anymore? Normally when you have a fresh CS install and you connect to a server for the first time again you see it rapidly downloading all sounds files again. But that also does not happen anymore since my reinstall. Anyone got a solution for this? Is this problem known allready?
