Hello, It's been a while this problems occurs. When I do a steam update (for the first time), it has to download the latest version of the tool: -- Checking bootstrapper version ... Getting version 18 of Steam HLDS Update Tool --
But it takes ages to do this... somtimes it even gets stuck there! Note that this doesn't happen every time.
