The hl1:// referrer has been working fine for me. <shrugs shoulders>

The syntax given by Alfred from the hlds (win32) mailing list was hl1://<server_ip>. I've seen the hl2://<server_ip> referer come from a source engine I've tracked on another member's game server but my hl1 server does not send anything like this. Some background info and other information on what I'm running/using: I've updated using the ./steam command as of Feb. 13th 2pm eastern for the game "cstrike". However I have a third party mod, Zombie Panic!, which the server runs. Rough Directory Tree: --rootserverinstall ----cstrike/ ----zp/ ----hlds_run ----...etc The server runs perfectly and I do not have AMXX or Metamod installed yet. I have my sv_downloadurl set to a php file that grabs all of the client headers (SERVER, ENV, REQUEST, SESSION...etc) and outputs to a file for me to view. No header has anything that relates to the original server. The only thing close is HTTP_USER_AGENT: Half-Life I use the php file for testing to make sure the referer is sent. I test by renaming a map on my client machine that the server is playing so I will be redirected to download it. The php file is called and it stores the header info. >From the hlds mailing list I saw that hl1://<server_ip> was supposed to be there. I'm wondering if I'm missing a setting or config file to enable that functionality or if it does indeed exist for the hl1 linux server. More info can be provided if needed. Thanks. -- _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds_linux
