Mannis.House: The chat thing has been acknowledged as a bug and will be fixed sometime. (I think Valve is pretty busy with the Orange box right now). The buggy was never supported on HL2DM, and if mappers figured out a way to get it to work for a while that's fine. Valve has no reason or responsibility to "fix" the buggy that was never intended to be part of HL2DM anyway. The same goes for npcs, such as zombies and headcrabs. They were never intended to work on HL2DM and if some maps were using them, that's their problem. Valve has no reason or responsibility to "fix" them either. Basically, the only complaint from above that seems likely to be addressed is getting the chat fixed.
