Hi,

were using Dell PE860's with Xeon X3210 quadcore processors and 4GB RAM. In
idle each one needs 110W.

But they are very powerful, ive ran about 13 TF2-Servers with 32 Players
each. The maximum load logged was 82% (5min average) with 250 active Players
(about 8 filled Servers). The players were on 7 full Servers and the others
were on the remaining gameservers. Were using our own highres-ckspatched
Kernels on Debian.

Betreff: Re: [hlds_linux] srcds performance on Xeon quad core?

 From wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xeon#Dual-Core_Xeon)
Just comparing 3Ghz procs:
3085 xeon has a TDP of 65W socket 771
5160 xeon has a TDP of 80W socket LGA775

Core2duo E6850 has a TDP of 65W socket LGA775 Xeon 3085 is juste a renamed
version of the E6850 ;)

Regards
