You mean the whole box died, ie. the kernel crashed? If so it could be either a hardware issue or a kernel bug. The kernel outputs a lot of useful information in these circumstances, however you'd need to hook up a serial console to get it if the box crashes hard. > Do we need to re install a 32 bit o/s or do you reccomend looking > elsewhere for the segfault culprit.
