Thanks very much for this, i set up the mailing list to mail me copies of
what i post but it never came thru so i wasnt sure it worked.

The server i host is hosted by a third party and i do not have shell access
to it at all so this may not be something i can use. And for that same
reason if there is a physical network issue (or network config issues)
theres not really anything i can do about it.

I was thinking about what settings directly to do with the srcds config and
plugins etc that could be tweaked to help diagnose the issue.
