The WRT54's apparently consume about 6 - 8 watts.  Even if you take the 
low for the box you use, and the high for the router, that's 20% the 
power.  I knew there would be a difference but didn't realize there 
would be such a large difference.  That makes me much more serious about 
switching...

The WRT54GL should cost under $60.  I know I can get one up here in 
Canada for under $90 including tax and shipping.
