I'm no fan of the lobby system as it stands right now, but I don't know 
if it's something Valve would be willing to change to give us these 
features.  I think it is set up the way it is in order to maintain a 
common interface across both the PC and Xbox platforms.  Basically, we 
(PC users) are stuck with this half-functional interface because Xbox 
users don't need the other functions (selecting a specific server, etc.)
