Hi.

Today I
have a different problem, so I’ll start over. I wonder why I can’t use higher
rates on my
HLDS publicserver (CS 1.6 - 2x32 slots).I have e good server, good connection
and I think
I’m using a good kernel and settings.

This is the highest rates I can use before
everybody gets choke:

sv_maxupdaterate
"50" (I want to have at least 70 :S)

sv_minupdaterate
"40"

sv_maxrate
"25000"

sv_minrate
"12000"

 Server:

Quadcore Intel Xeon X5470 3.33Ghz

Hynix 2x2GB Dual Rank-RAM

2x 73GB
SAS 15K rpm (Raid-1)

NIC:
Broadcom Netxtreme II

 Other info:

Debian

Sys_ticrate 1000

1000 HZ in kernel

One core / HLDS

SCHED_FIFO/RR 50 (chrt -f
-p 50 <pid>) Is this the right way to do it? :P

 So
why? Or how do I found out the reason? The server is in a Datacenter, and they
are saying that the connection isfine, so how do i prove them wrong if its the
connection? :P
