Hello,
Yesterday, I tried joining a game on our CS:S server and kept getting
the message "Error verifying STEAM UserID Ticket". I deleted the
ClientRegistry.blob file on my client and restarted Steam a few times,
but it did not help. There were 12 players on the server, but there
were several other people who could not connect for the same reason. It
seemed to be pretty hit-or-miss as far as people being able to join the
server. Some people got in without any problems, and others (like me)
got this error every time and were never able to join.
The server is fully updated. Does anyone have any ideas about why this
error would be popping up, and what I can do to resolve it?
