Already yesterday I noticed there was another 'left4dead2_demo'
directory inside the 'left4dead2_demo' directory of my server, the 2nd
directory contained all the l4d2 demo server files. I wasn't sure if I
messed something up while updating the server so I deleted the
additional 'left4dead2_demo' directory.
Today I had a look and again there was a 'left4dead2_demo' directory
with all the server files inside the main l4d2 demo server installation
so I stopped the server, deleted the additional 'left4dead2_demo'
directory again and started the server.
This is the console output:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sat Nov 7 20:23:21 CET 2009: Server Quit

Server will auto-restart if there is a crash.

Checking/Installing 'left 4 dead 2 demo linux dedicated server' version 4

Running a benchmark to measure system clock frequency...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
While the server is running and there are already people playing on it,
the steam process is still running in the background downloading another
copy of the server files into the main server installation.
Has anybody else noticed this or is it just me?
