Well, so this whole protected thing is more or less total crap and quite 
useless...everyone can load plugins and change files after the startup.

They have to charge that much because the cost for the certificate are 
about 600EUR/year (that was my last information some months ago). 
Someone should do a website for this like the 1000fps-myth site ;)
