Nothing, except that if you want to host a game server with quality, less CPU usage ant way less bugs – you need to buy and reinstall all of your servers to Windows. Even if developer (valve) provides a Linux built for the server you are still recommended to use Windows. But no, it has nothing to do with Windows vs Linux. Totally off topic. I wonder will the Mac version of their games be as buggy as the Linux one. Just wondering. :-) As you said they just “write for Windows more”. :-)
