I am very much looking forward to this, or at least, make replay generated dem files useable as playback files (where you unbzip and concatenate the block files), if you could do this, then i'm sure the community will create scripts for generating and maintaining the final .dem files. :)
As it is, you have to set a cl variable to use the .dem files, and you can't spectate a player from them either.
